Great news for iDEN users, especially our North and South American customers who are in need of unlocking their Boost i465 v20 and i410. We are now supporting all CNS unlocked phones including the teh Motorola i465 v20 and the new i410. There was new security protection in the v20 and the i410 so thats why it was delayed not to mention there were other projects that were priority at the time like the Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus remote unlock solution which is finished. We have even lowered our iDEN CNS unlocking prices and have now added choices for unlocking more than single phones. If you are a dealer/resleer, small company or even getting a small group of friends you take advantage of even lower prices to unlock by buying in bulk. Keep in mind this is for Carrier Not Supported, (CNS) iDEN phones. More details are HERE

There's still a lot of people out the that don't know that the Apple iPad 3G version doesn't use a normal SIM card for their data use, rather they use the new micro SIM card. Pictured below is a comparison, on the top a normal SIM and underneath the new micro SIM. There is a few reasons why they have adpated this new card but the main reason is money. The network carriers want cellular users to purchase yet another data plan with the new micro card. It seems that we just can't get away from not using our existing mbile data plan with the iPad........or can we? We knew that when the 3G iPad was released many would try and cut their mobile SIM card down to the micro size and try using it in the iPad. Of course the SIM contact pad itself is the the same size as the micro with just more plastic around it. After cutting our Rogers SIM down to the same size as the micro and changing the APN setting in our iPad we were please to say that we could get online with our existing mobile data plan and no longer need to purchase a another separate data plan. With a little cutting + patience we were successfully able to cut our Rogers SIM card into a micro SIM card size and insert it into Apple iPad 3G version. It's nice to know that this can be done as many fed up customers being forced to buy yet "another" data which we already have with our cellular plan. We're almost certain that Rogers here in Canada will follow suit and offer the new micro SIM cards with the iPad in a couple of months. The iPad 3G is not locked by Apple so this means that any 3G 850/1900/2100 MHz will be compatible for use. Sadly, T-Mobile USA, Wind Mobile Canada and Mobilicity's AWS 3G 1700 MHz users will not be able to use their cards. We went online to find a nice little tutorial on how to cut your card to fit in the iPad. Its very easy but keep in mind that when wanting to use yoru newly cut micro card, you'll have to find a way to either make an adapater, (which we feel China is already the process of making), or somehow adjust your mciro so that it will fit back into your mobile device's SIM slot. Now go to Settings > Cellular Data and click on APN Settings. Depending on which carrier you have a data plan with, you’ll need to enter in something different. Here are the APN settings you’ll need to enter for each carrier (remember to leave the Username and Password fields blank) Please note that if you cut your SIM card you do this at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible. Bell APN: pda2.bell.ca Fido APN: fido-core.appl1.apn Rogers APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn TELUS APN: sp.telus.com Click here to find the tutorial

Unfortunately the new firmware version 3.1.3 for the iPhone 3G & 3GS cannot be unlocked. There is no solution at this very moment but the iPhone team are working on it as we speak. When will it be ready? No one really knows. We will announce when it can be done.

For some time now Motorola iDEN phones has had a new type of security beyond the normal, "Enter Special Code" unlock. When inserting a foreign iDEN SIM card the new security shows "Carrier Not Supported" or commonly known as simply "CNS". Bypassing this security has been quite difficult to say the least but now there is a easy remote solution available that is being offer for iDEN distributors only. The reason behind this is simple......MONEY!! Before the network carriers order their phones from the handset manufacturers, the firmware, or the main operating system of the phone is originally unbranded and fully functional with no options crippled in any way........that's until the network carriers get their hands on them. The network carriers have the handset manufacturers "brand" the phone to their carrier name both on housing of the phone and in the software as well. For example, when turning on your handset , in addition of having the manufacturer's handset's name and logo splash across the start up screen, it will have added the carriers name and logo on it as well.....
