Here at Bongo we like to make your mobile phone purchase as convenient and as painless as possible. That's why we offer a few ways to save you money. If your tired of your old phone bring it in and we'll offer you a trade in value towards a new phone. It doesn't even have to go towards a new phone, you can always put it towards another pre-owned or refurbished phone. If you don't plan on purchasing a new phone, no problem, we can simply offer you cash out right for your phone. To be fair for both sides we prefer not to give quotes over the phone without seeing your device. Some other companies just offer you a flat rate for you make & model which usually results in a unfair quote and is always to your disadvantage. There are many factors on how we come to determine a fair quote for your mobile device.
- Age of phone (age is defined as when the phone was released into the market and how long it's been in circulation)
- Condition (condition is defined as the physical condition of the device, is it damaged? Was there liquid damage? Does it look like it went through world war II or was it kept in pristine condition, do we have to put money into this phone to make it re-sellable?)
- Accessories (is it being traded in with box & all accessories it came with or is it missing chargers, batteries, headset, etc.
- Functionality (This is defined as, does this phone make and receive calls? Do all the buttons, keypad, touch screen, SD slot, etc. operate properly? Does the device charge when plugged in?)
- Popularity (popularity is defined as how well the phone sold, was it a hot seller or did hardly anyone even noticed it was on the market)
- Locked or Unlocked (This is defined as being SIM locked or unlocked to a specified carrier, unlocked being it can be used with almost any carrier)
Things to keep in mind when trading or selling your mobile device to us. We offer trade in's as a convenience to our customers and you will not be offered market value for your device as you have to understand that as a business need to make money selling your phone used device. If your intentions are to get top dollar then there options are selling your used device privately on Kijiji, Craigslist or eBay Selling your device to an end user that has no intention to resell it It is our right to refuse any trade in of any mobile device no matter
We are no longer accepting trade in's on CDMA or iDEN phones as these technologies are slowly being faded out. We will however accept them as recyclable and dispose of them for you.
