Manufacturers warranty, what does that exactly mean? Don't be fooled in manufacturers warranty when purchasing an imported phone in Canada. When you purchase a cellular phone in Canada and it has been imported here from another country it does not necessarily mean that that the manufacturer will warranty it here. Most manufacturers warranty ONLY covers warranty in the origin of the country it was originally meant to be sold in. It is not economical to send & receive phones to Europe or Asia to have your phone repaired not to mention if it even makes it to it's destination because of possible theft or loss. It is your responsibility to pay for shipping both ways. This means that manufacturers warranty here in Canada means nothing. Even if by chance a manufacturer will offer the warranty of your cellular phone here in Canada, it would be doubtful they would even have the parts for your phone as they ONLY carry parts for Canadian phones.
