PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BEGINNING
Make sure you are using Windows XP or older, Vista may not be compatible.
Temporarily turn off your anti virus software off for this procedure, it may falsly detect our client as a virus.
Make sure your not behind any firewalls that would prevent our software to work, (if you are at your workplace this may pose a problem)
Be sure that you have a stable internet conection.
Have your USB cable compatible for your phone ready.
MOST IMPORTANT - YOUR BATTERY MUST BE FULLY CHARGED. IF IT ISN'T CHARGED FULLY, PLEASE DO SO NOW. IF YOUR BATTERY IS NOT FULLY CHARGED 100% THEN DO NOT UNLOCK YOUR PHONE AS TRYING TO UNLOCK IT WITH A LOW BATTERY COULD RENDER YOUR PHONE INOPERATIONAL.
Do not connect your phone to your PC yet
Step 1: Install the USB installation drivers
Step 2: Plug in USB cable into your PC
Step 3: With your phone off plug in the USB cable into your phone
Step 4: Press down the star (*) and pound (#) keys togther at the same time and press power until it goes into "FlashTrap" mode
Step 5: Install drivers
Step 6: Open the iDen unlocking client and in the settings tab enter your username & password that came to you in your email
Step 7: Then choose the "Subsidy Code Reader" tab and click "Read Code"
Step 8: Wait a few seconds unitl it connects to the server and then you should see your unlock code
Step 9: Unplug your phone, take out your battery and insert a SIM card other than what it's locked to and turn it on
Step 10: When your phone turns on and asks for the subsidy code, simply enter the unlock code from the client
Now your phone is completely and permanently unlocked and can be used with another iDEN service provider.
