Nokia N8 (Silver) Unlocked
The Nokia N8 is Nokia’s flagship phone and it’s sold unlocked in the US. It has 3G on both T-Mobile and AT&T as well as overseas. The phone has a 12 megapixel camera, a 3.7″ capacitive multi-touch AMOLED display, widgets, Flash Lite, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 and built-in GPS with Ovi Maps and Navigation.
The new Symbian OS called Symbian3 promises to connect people with places and services they consider most important to publish their content, connect to social networks, have fun with programs on-demand TV and Web apps.
One of the strengths of Nokia N8, which will be priced around $470 (370 Euros) is undoubtedly the 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash, which puts him at the camera and gives the ability to shoot video in HD and then edit them with an integrated suite. All thanks to 16GB memory that is expandable to 48GB via MicroSD card, and of course the touchscreen display, 3.5-inch AMOLED technology and 640×360 resolution.
Nokia also bundles free satnav capabilities, as it does with all its new phones, via the Ovi Maps tool, and access to the Ovi Store for applications to expand the phone’s capabilities. The device can also access web TV, and function as an MP3 music player for up to 50 hours. The company hopes that these features will allow to trump other handsets with more established followings.
